Color Inspiration #38

Ok, it seems as though the only time I can post is when KWerner has her color challenges. How pathetic am I? Really, though, I have been in the stamp room and have been busy. But today, I played with these colors...

Couldn't help but think of Valentine's Day. So here are a couple of cards...

After I stamped the hearts, it was just TOO plain, so I did it again, cut them out, and added them on top of the others with a little sponge tape to add some dimension. (You can see it better in the second picture.) I'm much happier with this than before.

Here is the recipe for this card (standard size):

Stamps: A Happy Heart
CS: Ruby Red, Whisper White
Ink: Ruby Red, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Corsage pin, grosgrain ribbon, sponge tape (similar to "dimensionals")

This card I used the same template basically from the catalog. Pg 6 to be exact. It's pretty much CASEd, I just changed the colors.

Here is the recipe for this card (3" x 6"):

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes, Hugs & Wishes
CS: Ruby Red, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Ink: Sahara Sand, Ruby Red, Versamark
Accessories: White EP, paper clip, grosgrain ribbon

Ah, that's done for the day. I hope to post again tomorrow. I've been working on a special project for our boys' bedroom, so I will show you what I've been working on.

TTFN,
Debi
